JOB SUMMARY
Acting as the conduit between the client and our operational teams in Property. Accountable for ensuring all client requirements are understood, cascaded through the teams, and delivered at least in line with expectations. Responsible for delivering ESG strategies at fund and asset levels, providing a key point of contact to the Client, PM Leadership, Operational Teams, and Supply Chain, and deliver against targets and reporting on key performance indicators.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Embed principles of sustainable property management across the Property Management business
Manage delivery of Property Management client requirements around sustainability including:
Coordinating the delivery of energy, water and waste reporting
Monitoring sustainability standards, KPIs and targets
Developing strategies and setting sustainability targets in collaboration with the Property Management teams
Identifying sustainability improvement projects and initiatives in managed properties and portfolios
Liaising with procurement teams to ensure sustainability is built into the procurement process and requirements
Contributing to creative community and tenant engagement initiatives
Providing data and reporting to industry benchmarks and initiatives (e.g. GRESB)
Engaging with client representatives to report on progress, successes, and challenges
Deliver sustainability services for CBRE’s broader client base
Communicate with the wider EMEA Sustainability team, including contribution to regional initiatives and requirements
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Associate’s degree Required, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. 2-4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Experience in a range of reporting tools and platforms, e.g. Deepki, SIERA, Envizi, MS Power BI or Tableau. Experience in ISO standards (14001, 50001), BREEAM (In Use), LCC, and ESG reporting frameworks including GRESB, INREV, and EPRA.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Excellent communication and people skills. High level of knowledge and understanding of sustainability as it relates to the Commercial Real Estate sector. Familiarity with managing data.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
