CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management, we are recruiting a Workplace Ambassador to join our Critical Environments team, on an account located in the City of London. The Workplace Ambassador will be part of the Facilities team, providing a first-class impression of our company and support all functions within the facilities team onsite, providing flexible service and extra emphasis on customer services. Key responsibilities are as follows: • To create an excellent first impression by ensuring immaculate self-appearance and professionalism at all times. • Provide technical advice, secretarial support and general assistance to guests and presenters. • Maintain the reception areas to the highest standard and assist, when required, to maintain meeting rooms and support areas. • Co-ordinate on a daily basis the delivery of services e.g. car park spaces, couriers, taxis/transport, rooms, work settings and catering • Assist with the organising and setting up of events held in the building involving the conference facilities, including evening functions. This may involve liaising with internal and external clients and attending functions when necessary to assist with the meeting and greeting of visitors and to provide general support to hosts. • Acting as the main point of contact for building users • Supporting facilities/workplace way of agile working • Supporting staff on how to complete certain tasks. i.e. logging faults with the helpdesk, how to book meeting rooms on Condeco • Build relationships with all partners and key stakeholders • Provide regular updates to department representatives and floor partners to discuss outstanding issues and needs • Work closely with wider onsite FM team to assist staff with visitors, room bookings etc • Share knowledge of the building and local area • Assist the Facilities Manager where required; part of the ‘one team’ approach • Promote the understanding of open work culture with end users • Way finding - helping users and guests to navigate floors • Daily ‘Floor reset’. Ensuring whole floorplate is set back to agreed client standard at the end of each day. Person Specification Essential • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent • High standard of personal presentation. • Customer Service and or service industry experience • Experience of working with a busy high-profile client • A thorough knowledge of MS Office including Outlook and PowerPoint • Experience of working on own initiative as well as part of a team. • Ability to manage and prioritise workload Desirable • Customer Service qualification • Knowledge of Visitor Management Concept and procedures
