CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Technical Transformation Senior Director to join the team located in the Dublin. The successful candidate will be designing and implementing transformational change to the technical services operating model across a large complex account.

Role Summary:

Work closely with Google’s Technical Service stakeholders to ensure CBRE are aligned and working in support of Google Technical Services vision and priorities
Create and implement the Technical Services strategy and transformation plan for EMEA
Accountable for delivering all contractual service requirements in relation to technical services
Undertake process reengineering of business processes to ensure consistency and gain maximum benefit from technology in technical services delivery
Benchmark the technical team’s capability and utilisation, creates and implements optimisation plan to drive and measure targeted improvement to ensure optimised scaling in response to portfolio growth
Ensure the technical services teams continue to be correctly resourced across EMEA
Agree the Technical Services technology roadmap with executive level stakeholders
Responsible for continuous development of the technical services function Identifying innovative methods of delivering technical services, creating business cases and ensures implementation against the plan
Create and implement standard operating procedures and playbook for the account
Coach and mentor the Regional Service Managers in relation to Technical Services
Ensure innovation and good practice developments are evaluated and implemented as appropriate
Accountable for the account technical services risk register
Develop and execute engineering and technical programs to meet Google strategic and cost objectives and business initiatives
Develop processes for capturing, cataloguing, analysing and disseminating key lessons to be learned from initiatives, with a view toward helping propagate best practices
Research, benchmark and analyse data in order to drive best technical service decisions within the Google facilities
Interface with senior and executive leaders on a routine basis
Oversee and manage achievements against goals and strategy and creates executive monthly update
Chair the monthly Technical Board and support the preparation of the quarterly EMEA Technical Newsletter
Develop, recommend, implement standard operating procedures and policies to economise operations in the repair and maintenance of facilities while increasing productivity
Oversee supply purchasing for the technical service function ensuring compliance to budget and maintaining inventories for appropriate control, evaluating contracts regularly
Resolve issues, agree priorities and set direction as a key member of the EMEA Leadership Team
In collaboration with EHS and country Executives ensure appropriate controls and arrangements are in place to achieve and maintain statutory compliance
All other duties as assigned

Experience Required:

BS or MS Engineering, or similar degree
Certified Reliability Leader and Asset Management Professional
LEAN Six Sigma (Green Belt)
NEBOSH - National General Certificate
Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning and execution skills
Exceptional communication skills adapting to a diverse range of audiences, across all mediums
Excellent commercial and financial acumen and budgetary competence, understanding the drivers impacting the business and levers that can be pulled
Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and how other enterprises are employing them to drive digital business, and how they may be applied
Familiar with all areas of technical building infrastructure and related operational components
Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, Quality systems
Multiple years of experience in Technical Services
Highly experienced inspirational project leader of large teams with a proven track record
Proven expertise and experience in leadership positions with the ability to develop and communicate the vision and inspire and motivate
SMART Maintenance Techniques, Work Order data analysis, Value Stream Mapping, Reliability Engineering and Planning & Scheduling Techniques
