The role will specialise in early career development, by delivering and building market learning programmes and solutions for our colleagues and managers. You will do this by aligning talent development to CBRE UK’s overall goals and strategic objectives. You will proactively build relationships throughout the organization to become a trusted advisor and an ambassador of the firm. You will also be responsible for the evolution of our current programme portfolio ensuring they meet the needs of our current and future generations of CBRE. In addition, you will support and delivery key Talent, Learning and Development talent programmes and learning initiatives in the UK. Lead and own CBRE’s Next Generation & a selection of CBRE UK’s talent development programmes, including our surveying pathways for Graduates, Apprentices, and Interns, whilst being instrumental in the design and delivery of our future portfolio of programmes.
Partner with CBRE’s Next Generation recruitment lead to ensure a smooth and seamless induction into all programmes, whilst fronting assessment days and campus presentations to ensure we are attracting diverse, multi-skilled, high performing talent into CBRE.
Partner with HRBPs and Business Service Line (SVLs) Heads to review current and future development needs. This will require building a deep understanding of our business and our current portfolio of development programmes to make recommendations and gain sign off for new initiatives.
Build and develop a deep understanding of all professional standards associated with each current and future programme, including the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) for the surveying Assessment of Professional Competencies (APC) programmes
Provide a successful learning and development offering to all programme participants, including owning and partner with the RICS to ensure the highest standards of professional competency training. In addition, utilise our market leading digital learning resources and bitesize workshops to schedule and deliver a curriculum of professional development skills workshops.
Ensure current and future programmes enable our next generation cohorts to learn develop and gain the require exposure within the business to be as successful as possible as quickly as possible.
Build and deliver a line management support programme to ensure they have the knowledge, support and tools to lead our next generation to success, leveraging our global and local people manager development tools.
Own and lead on-boarding phase for each programme, gaining support and engagement from business representative assessors at all levels.
Constantly challenge the status quo on next generation development by developing strategic development strategies for each Next Generation programme, constantly benchmarking and exceeding industry standards.
Lead, manage and evovle the current Apprenticeship Levy professional qualification offering.
Line management responsibility for 1FTE Talent & Learning Administrator
Delegate, develop and conduct monthly and annual appraisals of the Talent & Learning Administrator
Reporting into the Head of Talent, Learning & Development, providing weekly, monthly, and annual updates.
Driven to deliver – understands business challenges and delivers successful outcomes. This will require strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
Engage with SVLs and influence people at all levels and across different business areas. These relationships will need to be developed quickly and credibly using excellent and adaptive communication skills.

Highly motivated, able to work under pressure and with time constraints and delegate to others as appropriate.
Hard working and conscientious with ability to tailor process to suit business need.

Manage and resolve conflicts and able to lead and influence discussions at a senior level.
Expert knowledge of graduate and apprentice schemes from source to qualification/placement is strongly advantageous.
Strong commercial acumen, sense of urgency and business sense.
Experience and Qualifications
Psychometric qualification (Insights, MBTI etc)
Strong end to end Learning and Development experience, including analysis, design, delivery and evaluation.
Desirable but not essential, next generation programme exposure or ownership.
Partnered with and recruited training providers and external vendors in the past.
Strong presentation & project management skills
Worked in a highly matrix organisation, across multiple geographies
