Job Title: Senior Surveyor/Associate Director – National Valuation Team
Location: Central London based (Henrietta House, Henrietta Place, London, W1G 0NB)
This is a key appointment to the National Valuation Team with exposure to a wide range of property types across the UK. The role demands a focus on the logistics, multi-let estates and office sectors, providing valuation advice for secured lending purposes, acquisition due diligence support, and quarterly valuations on behalf of REITS and property companies.
The wider position gives opportunity for variety in terms of the asset classes and geographies. The role also offers client exposure and significant responsibility, together with excellent career prospects.
? Provide industry leading valuation advice with a focus on industrial and office assets across the UK. Co-ordination with regional and international colleagues to guarantee the best possible service is delivered.
? In addition to the above, provision of valuation advice relating to a full range of commercial investment and development properties across London and the South East, and assisting with the valuation of multi-sector, UK wide portfolios, involving regular collaboration with regional valuation teams.
? Providing advice on behalf of lenders, and investors of Investment valuations and development appraisals for a mixture of accounting, loan security, general advisory and acquisition purposes.
? Client liaison and assisting with the development of new and existing client relationships.
? To integrate with the wider CBRE network and other business lines such as Capital Markets and Agency teams.
? To support an expanding team in its business development objectives and continued revenue growth.
? MRICS or equivalent. At least 2 years post qualified experience is required.
? An in-depth knowledge of the South East industrial or office sector is desirable. The successful candidate will be part of a market leading team with a focus on specialising in the valuation of distribution assets for occupiers, investors and lenders.
? Logical thought process and ability to analyse data effectively.
? Self-motivated and proactive, enjoying working in a team with demanding clients. Has the ability to be creative and proactive in identifying, sourcing and pursuing new leads and opportunities.
? Maintains a positive attitude towards routine tasks.
? Understands the importance of using discretion.
? Team player who deals effectively with colleagues and clients and enjoys working as part of a team, but is also able to operate autonomously in an efficient and productive manner.
? Good IT skills in particular Word and Excel, as well as a detailed knowledge of Argus (Circle) Investor, Argus Enterprise and Developer Software.
? Strong analytical skills.
? Accurate and with exceptional attention to detail, especially when writing in-depth valuation reports and reviewing detailed due diligence.
? Excellent communication skills enabling the development of good relationships with both clients and colleagues.
? Willingness to travel.
? Organisation and personal time management skills are required with the ability meet strict deadlines and work in a fast paced environment.
