Job Title:ccountant / Senior Accountant – GL/Tax, China
Business Unit:Finance and Accounting Department, China
Reports To:Finance Manager –China

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
I.Working closely with different focal points at all levels in CBRE China to ensure finance operations run timely and accurately
II.Work closely with CBRE accounting shared service center (SSC)in Malaysia to execute month end closing responsibilities, including GL entry inputs in the accounting system (People Soft) to reflect accruals, allocations, and intercompany payables / receivables
III.Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, take lead to identify and address the outstanding items
IV.Coordinate with Tax/Regulatory department and external agent in China for indirect tax-related accountings. Support Tax/Regulatory department and SSC PTP team in outbound non-trade payments, including withholding tax calculation, payment, and documentation for non-trade overseas payment
V.Maintain and analyze tax accounts and records to ensure compliance and reconciliation
VI.Ensure the timely and accurately preparation and delivery of the monthly/Quarterly statutory reports, meet all CBRE statutory report requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
VII.Lead the month-end closing process for inter-company transactions. Ensure the monthly reconciliation is done, confirmation letters are properly sent/received before closing and no IC break / balance mismatch identified.
VIII.Conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries from business lines or IC counter-parties
IX.Any other duties as directed by the Finance Manager, and the Management

REQUIREMENTS
•Undergraduate degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Tax or Business administration with a minimum of 3 years working experience
•knowledge of indirect taxes and related regulations
•A fast learner, experience in ERP and financial reporting/consolidation systems, experience in Peoplesoft / FPO, HFM or other Oracle ERP and financial reporting software would be a big plus
•Professional accounting qualification such as CICPA/ ACCA/ CIMA or similar would be well regarded
•Excellent MS Office skill
•Must be detail-orientated, accurate, analytical and have strong organizational skills
•Must be able to work with many interruptions on multiple projects
•Must be organised and methodical in your approach to work, and be able to deliver high-quality work under pressure
•Must be a team player; work with other colleagues to deliver the best team result
•Good communication skills with fluency in English & Mandarin
