Reporting to the Director of Research for Global Thought Leadership and matrix-managed by the VP, Head of Global Occupier Thought Leadership, the Research Analyst will provide support in developing CBRE’s Global and EMEA occupier data and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Database management
- Collect, quality check and manage the content of multiple CBRE-owned, focused databases
- Partner with local CBRE researchers and third-party vendors to collect data across the U.S., European and Global markets - Support broker requests
- Provide/create data, slides, analysis
- Find/share data/reports from other sources as requested - Maintain and update shared resources folder to facilitate easier sharing of content
- Support with written content and analysis in presentations
- Support writing of quarterly reports, MarketFlashes, major reports, Viewpoints, Trends, and other ad hoc publications
- Track industry trends/news for incorporation into analysis, data collection, process improvement, presentations, etc
- Attend applicable industry conferences, broker meetings, client meetings, etc. as directed
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree ideally in Real Estate, Economics, Finance, Urban Planning, Geography, or related field and a minimum of 12 months related work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of interpreting and adding value to ad hoc requests from clients and the business
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to colleagues and clients
- Ability to effectively present information
- Knowledge of financial and real estate terms and principles, economics of markets and search methods
- Ability to critically assess merits/limitations of data sources and different analytical techniques
