To own nominated Property Investment Projects & Programmes within the designated Market recommending all necessary decisions for Country Head of Property. To own the Client, local stakeholder and collaborator relationships for in country delivery, aligning projects management teams, design and workplace effectiveness with overall site operations, client needs and expectations. This role is the owner of local customer relationships. Critical to this role will be supporting a “whole life cycle” approach to the delivery of projects, integrating and infusing business goals and operational considerations to the construction project.
The jobholder is:
-Responsible for the leadership and delivery of the nominated project and programme, supporting the Country Head of Property throughout the entire project lifecycle
-Responsible to ensure compliance with necessary corporate guidelines and processes, statutory and building regulations, environmental and workplace strategies and controls.
-Responsible for acting as the conduit and facilitate introductions and conversations for Transactional Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors to deliver the project successfully
-Accountable for managing the partnership with Geographies, Region SME / Region SPM in relation to the nominated project
-The first point of contact for nominated projects in Market.
-Own and present presentations to Business, including but not limited to Project Steering Committees.
-Required to drive an integrated and collaborative approach to service provision that complies with project process with Project Managers, Regional Design Managers, Workplace Effectiveness Manager and Facilities Manager.
-Specifically accountable for ensuring that the Project Brief is thorough and robust, documented and formally agreed.
-To drive project work through Project Management teams and to control project finances and report accordingly utilising the Bank’s project governance management technology platform,
-Required to work with Market PM Leads to ensure a solutions focused culture.
-Required to structure / restructure the nominated project to meet the country portfolio strategy and communicate changes that affects the project.
-The Primary point of contact with SME’s and SPM for nominated projects and programmes.
-Responsible for managing business expectations prior to project approval to ensure alignment with key strategies.
-Responsible to understand Client product business needs and align project delivery to those needs.
-Required to support capital planning and ad-hoc planning through liaison with internal clients and capturing of requirements.
-Required to understand local market conditions (including but not limited to costs and general commercial influences, landlords, suppliers & contractors, work periods and conditions, local practices etc.) managing execution to allow for such local factors.
-Responsible for ensuring FM engagement at all stages of planning and execution, obtaining necessary approvals and sign-offs by stakeholders.
-Responsible for ensuring contractual compliance and consistency for project delivery and reporting;
-Required to oversee the management of all nominated projects, design and workplace effectiveness in a safe, sustainable and secure manner.
-Tertiary education in interiors, architectural, mechanical or electrical engineering, building science, business studies, or equivalent.
-Professional certification as a Programme or Project Manager / Director
->10 years professional experience in fit-out construction industry, min 4 years banking experience, retail & commercial a bonus.
-Demonstrable constructability assessment skills
-English essential both written and verbal.
-Fluency in design, reading drawings etc;
-Demonstrable team leadership skills and managing performance of teams.
