The Supply Chain Operations team supports CBRE’s organization globally. The team focuses on providing the foundations and engine of a world class supply chain and procurement organization for Real Estate and Property professionals to work effectively with clients leveraging best-in-class processes and tools to deliver meaningful outcomes.

The Supplier Chain Operations Team Lead is responsible for performing tasks involved in the formation and administration of purchase requisitions and purchase orders. Communicates with suppliers and account personnel to establish clear definition of requirements and to assure performance in delivering purchase orders to client sites and suppliers in a timely manner. Support to operationalize all Global Enterprise Supply Chain initiatives for North America (NAM). Ensures the successful, if not excellent, performance of the Supply Chain Operations team in accordance to agreed metrics. Represents the Supply Chain Operations team at project team meetings.


SUMMARY OF ROLE :

Performs tasks involved in the formation and administration of purchase requisitions and purchase orders. Communicates with suppliers and account personnel to establish clear definition of requirements and to assure performance in delivering purchase orders to client sites and suppliers in a timely manner. Support to operationalize all Global Enterprise Supply Chain initiatives for North America (NAM). Ensures the successful, if not excellent, performance of the Supply Chain Operations team in accordance to agreed metrics. Represents the Supply Chain Operations team at project team meetings. Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area.  Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination.  Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies.  Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, and 3 years of related experience including but not limited to Procurement, preferably in an engineering, procurement or business process outsourcing (BPO) environment. 
  • Skilled in oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Possesses significant experience in project expediting, management or other procurement-related function.
  • Proficiency in using standard software applications, Procurement System, and Supplier Performance Database data input. Skilled in the use of the expediting module, and knowledge of other procurement modules.
  • Experience in purchasing or subcontracts, including bid, evaluate, award cycle, execution of agreements, execution of changes, price and schedule negotiations, and commercial strategy.
  • Proficient in interpreting schedules to ensure that realistic milestones are established, that required activities occur on time, and that interface between activities is maintained.
  • Solid knowledge of Procurement policies, local and/or international.
  • Led a well-recognized successful operations team from a top local or global company.
  • Certificate and/or diploma holder of Supply Chain seminars, trainings and/or courses
  • Knowledge of the Coupa system and its P2P functionalities.
  • Knowledge of the ServiceNow system and its reporting functionalities.
