CBRE are looking to employ a fully qualified Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer) to work across 12 clients who have multiple sites from Reading through to Harlow. Due CBRE offering our client mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and Fabric maintenance support (hard services / facility management) it is important the applicant is within suitable travel distance to our client’s sites to provide reactive and proactive maintenance services (PPM). This role would suit someone who lives in North London, Hertfordshire, Essex, Middlesex, Buckinghamshire, or Berkshire. The successful applicant will travel up to 20 client sites per month so must have a UK driving licence.

Working hours are 08:00 - 16:30 plus travel (less 30 minutes each way). We provide a CBRE van and tools and there is overtime available (paid at an overtime rate). This role will also be on call out in 1 of 4 weeks (£100 paid when on call).  

Purpose of the Job
To carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive works to building plant, equipment and systems in accordance with agreed service levels, and respond to site engineering emergencies.
Undertake small installation works, repairs to building fabric, and handyman duties.
To carry out Electrical Works.
This candidate needs to be client facing and able to work in pressurised NHS environment.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment and systems to meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreements.
Respond to Building Management System alarms, and effect emergency repairs as needed.
Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems.
Ensure that Cooling Systems and domestic water systems are maintained to comply with the requirements of the L8 standard.
Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant.
Ensure that comprehensive maintenance records are kept in the form of PPM task sheets.
Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices
Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes.
To develop a good working relationship with all members of CBRE staff and client’s staff.
Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required.
Ensure a professional image of CBRE is presented to clients and visitors and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times.
Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning.

Essential & Desirable Requirements:

A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic Mathematics skills.
Formally trained in mechanical and electrical services maintenance. 
18th Edition electrical regulations
City & Guilds 2360 (level 3)
City & Guilds Electrical Inspection and Testing qualification (C&G 2391)
Formal health and safety training.
Experience of Maintaining Commercial Electrical Equipment
Comprehensive mechanical and electrical engineering experience, undertaking reactive and planned preventative maintenance.
Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations with regard to maintenance activities
A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic Mathematics skills.
Ability to learn, and develop both technical knowledge, and understanding or local organisational systems and processes.

Calm manner, able to work under pressure.
