Job Duties

  • Work through a design process to create branded web, print, presentation and other design products
  • Illustrates ability to take ideas and instructions from a variety of sources and, with guidance, interpret, organize, and present them in a graphic format from pre-concept through completion (print and/or electronic)
  • Shows proficiency in programs including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, and MS Suite including PowerPoint
  • Assist in the design and execution of research reports and supporting materials
  • Work with the agency divisions to facilitate campaigns and ensure marketing projects are followed through end to end
  • Advertising – book and coordinate all display advertising ensuring that all guidelines and budgets are met
  • Adhere to corporate style guides on type, colour schemes, and other brand elements
  • Work as part of a team with designers and business stakeholders including members of the Marketing team and Sales Agents
  • Assist from time to time in the creation of agency pitches with Pitch Coordinator – collection and coordination of information, design, typing, print and bind
  • Advertising – book, coordinate and produce all display advertising
  • Online – coordination and design of web/social media advertising creatives (HTML Knowledge desirable)
  • Communicate and manage relationships with external service providers (ie, printers, design agencies)
  • Assist in the development and curation of engaging content for social media platforms
  • Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content
  • Admin duties as required including processing of all printing and advertising invoices
  • Track and maintain agency advertising – obtaining tearsheets from media suppliers
  • Any other tasks that may be incidental to the performance of this role and such other tasks as the employer may reasonably direct from time to time

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing
  • 3-5 years’ professional experience in marketing
  • Intermediate to advanced level Adobe CS3 – Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, Microsoft packages – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience in real estate sector
  • Dreamweaver/HTML skills desirable
  • Previous experience in working with a Website CMS 
  • Social media management experience
