Job Title: Global Workplace Lead (Client based role)
Location: London
Role Purpose
The Global Workplace Lead is a client-based role, working with one of our largest financial sector clients.  Leading a team of embedded resource supplemented by delivery partners, the Global Workplace Lead directly supports the client to define and deliver its industry leading Global Workplace strategy programme.

The Global Workplace team own and evolve the clients Global Workplace Standards, combining the strategy for an efficient and cost effective portfolio with the requirement to deliver exciting office spaces that support different work-styles, embed flexible workplace behaviors and are adaptable to change including post-COVID Future of Work.

The role manages the governance and implementation of c40 concurrent projects ensuring adherence to design and governance standards.  In addition, the Workplace Lead drives the continuous improvement team within the account, which includes specialists focusing on workplace change management process / technology, data analysis / insight and communications, training and community progammes.  
Working closely with the client, they will anticipate and dynamically respond to workplace challenges across the industry and client organisation.  They will be responsible for bringing their own insights and experience to improve the workplace experience for our client.    Key activities include, but are not limited to; managing remote teams who work across geographies to implement new ways of working, developing improvement initiatives to ensure continuous best in class delivery and actively promoting workplace principles, approach and activities to a wide range of business and CRE stakeholders.  Working alongside the Regional Heads of Workplace, providing governance and oversight of all projects, the role is pivotal to integration across different businesses, functions and delivery partners and acts as a Centre of Excellence ensuring service excellence of Workplace delivery globally

The Global Workplace Lead must be a positive, forward looking self-starter, bringing and driving new ideas to work effectively across a large organisation. At the heart of this role is a pro-active, client focused approach, where the ability to communicate and partner with multiple stakeholders is crucial.  The role is ‘hands on’ and will require demonstrable strategic workplace consulting and global programme management experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Act as a leader for Workplace activities globally, including oversight of global programme delivery and governance, product improvement, creation of data stories and communication excellence
? Engage with senior stakeholders within the business and CBRE to promote Workplace principles and ideas, support the senior client team with executive level engagement, and act as a deputy for the client’s Global Head of Workplace as required
? Identify, enhance and continuously improve the workplace delivery process and toolkit introducing new technology and innovation (working with the Global Workplace Initiatives Lead)
? Drive production of communication and training materials, creating communities to help facilitate and embed workplace change (working with Global Workplace Communications, Community & Training Lead)
? Evaluate data/feedback from across the global programme creating actionable insights and helping define future workplace data strategy and measures of success (working with Workplace Data Strategy and Insight Lead)
? Communicate at a senior level and engage with Regional Workplace Leads to ensure consistent, best in class delivery tailored to cultural sensitivities
? Manage the Regional Workplace Programme Office Managers, creating a team identity and culture, supporting the challenges of fully remote working and driving sharing of innovations and best practices
? Interface with the greater CBRE workplace team; sharing best practice and keeping abreast of new trends in the industry

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
? Knowledge and experience of delivering strategic workplace change - agile/flexible/activity based working implementation, global workplace programme governance, workplace improvements, workplace consolidation, data analysis/visualisation
? Experience working across cultures, ideally with delivery experience in multiple regions and countries
? Practical hands on experience implementing continuous improvements in the workplace field, including awareness of industry trends and alternative approaches
? Ability to multi-task on concurrent projects, under tight time frames
? A high level of initiative, self-motivation, resourcefulness and patience 
? Demonstrable ability of working closely with and advising clients in a consultancy capacity
? Ability to work as part of a team and operate independently
? Softer skills relating to gaining business buy-in/stakeholder management, relationship building, confident to lead client conversations, sell the workplace proposition and deal with resistance around the change 
? Affiliation with relevant external networks such as CoreNet / Leesman or relevant professional body
? Beneficial to have experience in financial sector
? Qualified to degree level in related field (not compulsory)
