CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We have recently won a new and exciting Life Science account in our specialist Integrated Laboratory Solutions division and are now looking to recruit a Global Alliance Director with experience of first generation mobilisation to join the team.

The successful candidate will develop best in class products and services by working in conjunction with the Life Science’s Advanced Solutions team and the Pharma Services Community of Practice supporting the delivery of world-class services.  Implement and monitor standard service offerings and assists with the development of those standards and strategies across the account.  You will represent Integrated Laboratory Solutions at an account level, managing SLA’s, KPI’s and compliance requirements.  

The Alliance Director will ensure alignment between the account organization and other departments within GWS to maximize value creation and ensure excellence in operational delivery by providing direction and oversight to enable account teams to positively contribute and comprehensively manage the fulfilment of our commitment to the client.

Through the development and execution of an Account Business Plan, the Alliance Director will be responsible for the profitable revenue growth and profit targets of the account portfolio.  The incumbent is required to develop and foster CXO and senior level customer relations as part of developing strategic plans that ultimately improve the client’s business, utilizing the full breadth of products and capabilities of GWS.

  • Active and positive member of the account leadership team, leading the integrated laboratory solutions group and maintains open lines of communication with client representatives, end users, alliance partners, and operations managers.
  • Manages Integrated Laboratory Solutions Client Account scope including Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and developing, tracking and optimizing Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
  • Prepares Integrated Laboratory Solutions work stream budgets and manage program costs and savings to approved plan, proactively reporting variances and recovery plans.  Identify and communicate opportunities for cost savings and increased scope.
  • Ensures day-to-day and long-range activities for defined Integrated Laboratory Solutions scope are planned and that appropriate resources are available.  Ensure that all programs and procedures of the Integrated Laboratory Solutions are being properly implemented.
  • Leads and supports the identification, application and delivery of innovative ‘leading edge’ support service and infrastructure technologies to enhance service delivery
  • Establishes and coordinates goal setting, performance reviews and incentive/salary administrative processes for direct reports and possibly those reporting to direct reports.  Ensures training records are maintained and up to date.
  • Communicates operating philosophy, objectives and expectations to Integrated Laboratory Solutions personnel in a continuing effort to build the site team.
  • Leads the creation and management of the Integrated Laboratory Solutions work stream “Transformation Roadmap” assure coordination with the account team Transformation leader and ILS EMEA Director. 
  • Ensures all in scope services follows appropriate client procedures and Government regulatory codes. 
  • Drives implementation of LS Account level quality program and manage / integrate the development of new or expanded services to the contract and quality manual. 
  • Connects with the greater Integrated Laboratory Solutions Communities of Practice through Pharma Services Director and peer account leaders.  Responsible for identifying, sharing and implementing best practice, training and resources between sites, regions and accounts.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Business, 
  • Experience managing multi-million dollar budget in Laboratory and / or manufacturing pharmaceutical environments. 
  • Demonstrable experience and accomplishment while operating in regulated environments. 
  • Demonstrable knowledge of FDA guideline interpretations, GMP, GLP and audit experience. 
  • Broad knowledge of business processes to drive out costs in research and manufacturing of FDA regulated efforts.  
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to develop and implement innovation and strategies across multiple sites and geographic locations.  
  • Provide demonstrated leadership, team building, strong organizational skills, project planning and management with a participatory management style.  
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Requires the ability to travel
