Job Title: Manager –General Ledger, China
Business Unit: Finance and Accounting Department, China

SUMMARY
The responsibilities of the Manager –General Ledger in China are:
I.To take responsibility for the efficient and effective execution of the day-to-day accounting function of China
II.Working with the colleagues in the China Finance Department, to prepare the monthly financial statements for China, including the balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement and bank reconciliation.  To coordinate with the Accountants and/or Assistant Accountants in the China for consolidating the financial reports
III.Any other duties as directed by the Senior Finance Manager – China and the Management

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1.To coordinate with the accounting team in China and ensure the timely and accurately preparation and delivery of the monthly financial reports, including balance sheet, income statements, variance report and cash flow statements.  To meet all CBRE management report requirements in a timely and accurate manner
2.To coordinate with the accounting team in China for the consolidation of financial reports
3.To ensure that China accounting systems and policies and procedures, including the client accounting system and policies & procedures are complied with in the China office
4.To prepare the accurately capital spending report for China
5.To ensure the prompt preparation of the annual audit and the annual tax return for the China
6.To ensure effective methods of communicating, responding and coordinating with other departments and offices in China
7.To maintain appropriate documentation and internal accounting control over the activities of the Finance and Accounting functions in China 
8.To direct and monitor the work of the Accounting Team as well as outside accounting service providers utilized by the Company
9.To work with internal auditor and external service providers in audit, tax, statutory reporting requirements, etc
10.To carry out any other assignments as directed by the Senior Finance Manager and Finance Director.

REQUIREMENTS
•Undergraduate degree or above in Accounting or business with a minimum of 6 years managerial/supervisory experience in general ledger and accounts preparation
•Excellent MS Office skill
•Have a strong aptitude for computer software, particularly accounting software systems
•Must be detail-orientated, accurate, analytical and have strong organizational skills
•Must be able to work with many interruptions on multiple projects
•Must be organised and methodical in your approach to work, and be able to deliver high-quality work under pressure
•Must be a team player; work with other colleagues to deliver the best team result
•Good communication skills with fluency in English & Mandarin
