To manage the planned preventative maintenance, reactive works to building plant, equipment and systems in accordance with agreed service levels, and respond to site engineering emergencies. 

Ensure that all relevant Log books, Service records, and safety documentation is compiled and recorded to ensure that the site remains compliant at all times.

To manage and ensure that all sub contractors working on site are inducted, comply with the safe system of work relating to the task, and that works are authorised prior to works being undertaken.

To promote and maintain the highest level of service delivery in line with CBRE core RISE values.


Key Responsibilities

1 Ensure routine maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment and systems to meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreements.

2 Ensure comprehensive maintenance records are kept using task and updating Plant asset information as required, including issuing, updating and closing of all reactive, planned and self-generated work orders on Concept CAFM system.

3 Ensure suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant.

4 Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems including Authority to Work, and process checks are undertaken.

5 Ensure Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and adhered to for all tasks ensuring safe working practices

6 Ensure engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, complying with contractual commitments, and site operating processes.

7 Ensure provision of a safe & healthy working environment, ensuring compliance with all Company policies, procedures, as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required. Including raising and escalating hazards reports when identified.

8 Ensure professional and technical skills are maintained through personal development and life-long-learning. 

9 To develop a good working relationship with all CBRE Managed Services colleagues, the client their staff and sub-contractors.

10 Ensure that shift cover is always manned to the correct level and arrange cover as required with Operational Managers permission.

11 Ensure a professional image of CBRE Managed Services is presented to client, visitors and sub-contractors ensuring excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times.

12 Any other reasonable request of CBRE Operational Management.



Accountabilities

1 Accountable to Line Manager.

2 Safe operation of the contract (staff and sub contractors)
3 This post carries no direct budgetary responsibility.
4 Accountable for maintaining appropriate stocks of spares and consumables, and ensuring their secure storage and controlled issue.
