We are recruiting a Electrical Lead Engineer to join the team located in Sunbury. The successful candidate will Provide leadership support to a service team that ensures the efficient and safe operation of client location and  ensuring all client services meet client requirements or appropriate SLAs to ensure compliance and performance, covering business continuity

Key Responsibitlites:
  • Able to apply a risk focused maintenance approach and operations of plant and systems in Labs / critical environments.   
  • Able to manage cost related to delivery of maintenance activities 
  • Ensuring all client services meet client requirements or appropriate SLAs to ensure compliance and performance, covering business continuity.
  • Provide leadership support to a service team that ensures the efficient and safe operation of client location(s).  Lead and develop a ONE TEAM approach with all CBRE staff and supply partners as part of Third Party Contractor Management.
  • Operate to an Asset management plan (one year - 15 year), dilapidation and update plans relating to special locations and change control process covering business critical areas.
  • Provide technical management reports as & when required.
  • Provide emergency response standby, call out.  Escalate urgent issues identified through to the Technical Services Manager & Account Manager. 
  • Respond to work interruptions, outages or emergencies consistent with the SLA. Establish emergency response escalation programs working with the client and Security to ensure the appropriate representatives are notified of emergency conditions in a timely manner.
  • Support related technical audits onsite sites.
  • Operate to forward maintenance plan that track asset condition and projected maintenance costs on a 5 year rolling basis.
  • To ensure all PPM’s are carried out to schedule and ensure completion of all reactive Helpdesk Requests ensuring closing and completion in line with SLA’s.
  • Complete an incident report for all abnormal incidents affecting systems availability (draft prepared within 24 business hours of an incident). Determine the root cause and action items required to restore availability and prevent a recurrence. Review and submit to the Technical Services Manager ensuring all actions are documented reviewed and completed 
  • Continually communicate building issues to end users, client and CBRE Management team.
  • To ensure all PPM’s and Critical Facility PPM’s are carried out to schedule and also ensure completion of all reactive Helpdesk requests ensuring closing and completion in line with SLA’s
  • Maintain L8 compliance and onsite water treatment systems
  • Carryout fault finding on start-delta motors including VFD’s and Soft Start controls / contactors
  • Assist and enhance service delivery through best practice and the effective use of site systems and equipment.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:
  • Excellent Contract / Supplier Management Skills.
  • PC Literate - PC and MS office skills
  • Evidence of Excellent Customer Service Delivery.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong People Management to motivate and inspire a team to work together.
  • Diploma level in mechanical / electrical engineering ideal
    Permit and management understand high risk works 
  • Operational experience of managing Environmental, Health & Safety and Quality Systems.
  • Experience of operation of UPS, Standby Power and Critical Environment Cooling.
  • BMS Controls Experience / HVAC Experience.
  • Water hygiene L8.
  • IOSH or equivalent H&S training.
  • Be or have been an Authorised Person in a HSE arena 
  • Understand the monitoring of utilities and environmental programmes.
  • Knowledge of emergency response/standby/call out activities and protocols.
  • Experience in operating data centres/critical environments.
