Develop switching schedules in conjunction with the Transition Team Supervisor where shutdowns are required
Attendance on shutdowns and isolations.
Audit and challenge subcontractor works in the operational environment.
Act as “owners advocate” for start-up and electrical commissioning activities
Attendance at Start-up Meetings
Attendance at Integration Meetings
Attendance at and sign off of electrical SATs and IST procedures
O&M Reviews and Sign off
Develop Vendor Training Programme in conjunction with the Transition Team Supervisor/ EE (Electrical Engineer)
Snagging / Defect Reporting
Development of detailed asset lists for upload to CMMS
Development of detailed emergency, maintenance, and drill procedures (in conjunction with the Engineering Team)
Manage the interface works to limit the disruptive effect on the operational team, allowing them to focus on day to day activities and to continue to manage the operational and maintenance activities in the live facility.
The candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of electrical operational plant and equipment, and the installed systems.
A fully verifiable trade or engineering qualification in an electrical engineering discipline and verifiable additional training that is relevant to the proposed environment.
5 or more years’ experience at Technician/Engineer level in a critical environment.
An excellent understanding and experience of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a data centre environment, including: Feeders, Transformers, Generators, Fuel Systems, Switchgear, UPS systems, Battery banks, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units, Chillers, Air handling units, CRAC units, Fire Alarm systems, and Fire Suppression systems.
