Manages the organisation's Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) programs. Serving as the D&I subject matter expert, consults and works with the senior leadership team, business groups, and other HR colleagues to build an inclusive and diverse culture and workforce while hiring, developing, and retaining diverse talent. Responsible for developing a robust, integrated D&I strategy that spans talent acquisition, learning, development, retention, and employee engagement. Works closely with partners across the region and in the broader industry to introduce and embed best practices to achieve collective D&I goals focusing on three dimensions: workforce, workplace, and marketplace. Builds upon existing programs and champions new initiatives to expand the company’s current region's diversity and inclusion strategy.
•Provides vision, leadership, coordination and strategic planning for the design and implementation of a region-wide diversity and inclusion platform.
•Serves as an expert and a resource to organizational leaders and managers to ensure the region’s strategic plan for diversity and inclusion is aligned with CBRE's strategic and operating plans. Utilizes metrics to assess performance and success over time, improves and redesign services.
•Works with leaders to identify areas to increase diversity of the workforce to meet goals and partners with leaders to spearhead ways to develop recruitment and retention programs to attract a more diverse workforce and deepen our pipeline. Partners with senior leaders and managers to lead and facilitate change in the delivery of D&I services. Infuses diversity into discussions, such as budget, new initiatives, strategic plans and future priorities.
•Drives diverse talent identification and retention strategies for employees. Maintains good faith efforts in hiring, development and retention processes.
•Designs and implements initiatives/processes which anticipate and/or respond to key competitive issues.
•Leads development of strategic and supportive communications related to D&I initiatives.
•Assists with the preparation of key reports, including but not limited to employment, equity, diversity and inclusion activities required by state and federal agencies.
•Establishes and maintains on-going relationships with peers and partners in key organizations and companies to stay informed of best practices, benchmarks, competitor actions, etc.
•Promotes a positive image and positive external relations for CBRE by representing the company in various community, state and regional activities designed to promote diversity and inclusion.
•Develops and presents an array of innovative ideas and program concepts for consideration, selection and implementation; manages the direction and implementation of targeted D&I programs.
•Supports the development, implementation and monitoring of Employee Resource Groups (ERG) and mentorship programs. Manages relationships with all ERG leaders and key stakeholders and promote alignment of ERG goals and initiatives to overall company strategy. Supports and enhances mentorship programs.
•Partners with Learning & Development, to assess, design, and deliver diversity education, training and development programs to support strategic goals and operational objectives. Provides leadership on diversity and inclusion training content.
•Measures programs and impact for ROI.
•Prepares and manages the D&I Department annual budget. Reviews submissions of periodic costs and productivity analysis.
•Identifies, selects, and manages relationships with diversity solution providers and suppliers.
•Manages the planning, organisation and controls for a major functional area or department. May be responsible for leading and developing a mix of direct and matrix reports.
•Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

Education and Experience
•Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)
•Extensive experience in Business, Education, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management, Human Resource Development, Organizational Development, Industrial and Organizational Psychology or related field.
•Experience building and managing a diversity & inclusion strategy and plans, preferably in a corporate environment.
•Experience working with vendors to deliver results for the business.
•Ability to comprehend, analyse and interpret the most complex business documents.
•Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues.
•Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using a distinctive style.
•Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups.
•Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management and client groups to take desired action.
•Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles.
•Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts complex financial/business analysis including the preparation of complex reports.
•Prepares and manages departmental budget.
•Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.
•Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills.

•Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
•Demonstrated Project Management experience working with cross-functional teams, SMEs, and stakeholders.

•Ability to research, identify, and implement best practices of diversity & inclusion, as well as demonstrate an excellent command of contemporary diversity and inclusion concepts and issues.
