TRANSACTION MANAGER

Job Summary

The EMEA Transaction Management team is responsible for developing property strategy and overseeing the execution of transactions for either one large, dedicated client or a number of clients with smaller transaction requirements. The role will also be focused on providing financial analysis and Business Case summary for potential commercial real estate lease transactions related to CBRE’s Master Services Agreement with the client.

Scope

Customer relationship management:
Building strong relationships with the business and other departments within client organisation
Daily interface with the business (not real estate) to understand their requirements 
Strong communication of scope of CBRE with recommendations for other alternatives (e.g. RFS for instructions outside of scope)
Strong understanding of CBRE business and where they can add value to client / meet business needs

Strategic transaction management:
Identify portfolio opportunities
Determine and agree workable contributions towards the business goals for the year
Generate asset plans 18-24 months prior to critical date (lease details/ market knowledge/ operational investment required/ utilisation information)
Work with business to create a business plan
Lead project from kick off through to completion, engaging with various stakeholders throughout
Ensure all due diligence and procedures are adhered to 
Provide recommendations and manage associated risks

Team player:
Part of a global team, ensuring best practice is shared 
Share responsibility for financial and non financial targets


Person Specification

Real estate degree (required)
RICS qualification (preferred)
Candidates with minimum of 5 years real estate experience
good interpersonal skills and ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority;
Previous transactional experience
experience with financial modelling in Excel is strongly preferred;
demonstrates understanding of general commercial office leasing concepts;
close attention to detail and strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task in order to meet client deadlines;
proven client facing experience;
ambitious and self – motivated;
