Role Purpose: Director – Industrial and Logistics (I&L) Investment Properties (IP)

Working within a market leading Capital Markets team, the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the disposal and acquisition of Industrial and Logistics assets in the UK.  The team provides specialist advice at all stages in the investment and funding cycle from funding through to the sale of income producing assets.  The diverse client base includes investors, developers, property companies and occupiers.  The team, of 6 specialists is based in London but works closely with the entire CBRE UK National Team.

Key Responsibilities 

? Leading the sale and acquisition of Industrial and Logistics assets in the UK.
? Managing and mentoring junior team members.
? Work independently using existing network of clients to source, manage and transact assets 

Person Specification/Requirements 

? Proven track record of I&L investment activity including the origination of deals and consistent and successful completion of transactions from start to finish
? Established network of client and agency contacts
? Experience in development and investment, ideally in all UK geographies
? Financial modelling expertise, adopting our established internal approach to model design and construction, and best practice processes
? Track record of managing junior team members
? Communicate clearly and professionally, verbally and in writing
? Promote innovation and commitment to work process improvement
? Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met
? Maintain a positive attitude towards routine tasks with accurate and exceptional attention to detail
? Pro-active and enjoys working autonomously and as part of a wider team, including with colleagues and clients
? Confident and assertive where required
? Good IT skills (Microsoft Office applications, with a major focus on Excel)
? Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
? A good knowledge of the leasing process from inception through to completion.
? Personal authority to deal effectively with people at a senior level, both internally and externally and present CBRE’s I&L vision and strategy publicly
? Preferred Real Estate and/or Financial experience required – MRICS highly desirable
