The Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) team based in our Brisbane office is expanding, and looking to engage a CA (or CPA) qualified Accountant to join a dynamic and friendly team to oversee statutory reporting, balance sheets, provide operational advice, and implement strategies for risk mitigation for the business line. We are seeking someone who is determined, diligent and resilient. Working closely with our Finance Director, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into the largest commercial real estate firm globally, and to develop your Accounting skills in a dynamic organisation.

Here’s a snapshot of the role:

  • Statutory reporting requirements
  • Review and assess balance sheet and follow up on action items
  • Maintain internal controls, intercompany transactions
  • CAPEX budget & reporting.
  • Provide advice and guidance to the business
  • Assist with audit queries
  • Monitor days sales outstanding and trade working capital.
  • Ad hoc requests as they arise.

Here are the strengths you’ll possess and the background you’ll need to be successful:

  • CA or CPA (or nearly qualified).
  • Ability to meet deadlines and willingness to work as a team player.
  • Excellent communication skills are imperative in this role to connect effectively with the business.
  • Ability to build a professional relationship of trust.
  • Demonstrate strong commercial knowledge and business acumen.
  • Corporate real estate and property experience is highly preferred, experience working in a global organisation with shared service centres is ideal.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
