Account Manager, London - Data Centre Solutions (DCS)
Job purpose
• P&L client account owner in EMEA for CBRE DCS
• Accountable for the performance of the client account in-line with the business expectations in relation to revenue and margin growth
• Be responsible for delivering experienced and professional personnel into the clients data centre delivery team
• Foster the relationship with the client to ensure that their needs are met
• Ensure that we are aligned as best as possible with the client's culture with the people we provide
Roles and responsibilities
• Responsible for managing several client accounts within EMEA and being the face of the company
• Championing the customer/client at all levels internally and externally
• Being a main point of contact for all growth opportunities
• Building new business relationships where possible
• Giving sales presentations to the client team at all levels
• Managing employer’s client relationships and providing clients with excellent service and support
• Feeding back all suggestions for improvement and market research
• Ensuring they are aware with all competitive activities within accounts and preventing attrition
• Ensuring all the people we provide a performing at the highest standards
• Ensuring that we are giving the best value to the client on this account
• Attending the sites regularly to meeting with clients and CBRE staff where applicable
• Resolving any personnel or performance issues before they become an issue
• Forecasting revenue
• Continuously striving for efficiencies
• Providing internal governance of our people to ensure best service
• Leading, training, and managing other members of the account management team and dealing with any issues that may arise
• Undertaking and managing performance review with the team
• Resolving any payment issues with have up or downstream
• Building strong effective working relationships with site teams across all interdependencies
• Interacting regularly with client(s) to ensure that goals and objectives are established and achieved
• Managing and leading project management staff in the account and ensures thorough staff understanding and implementation of operations, policies, and procedures
• Responsible for identifying tracking performance, coaching, training needs, and motivating direct reports and work group
• Directly or indirectly responsible for hiring, terminating, compensation, and performance evaluation for direct reports and work group
• P&L Responsibilities for the client's EMEA Account
• Monthly Reporting on Current and Forecast Positions for Account
• Ensuring that all financial objectives are met
• Analysing variances and initiate corrective actions
• Ensuring all accounts are managed through Company policies and procedures in relation to commercial activities
