PURPOSE OF THE ROLE 

The BTO Associate is responsible for supporting end-to-end delivery of successful supply chain solutions for GWS clients. The BTO Associate role provides support to the Supply Chain BTO Leader across three critical stages of engagement: 

(1) Creating winning, bespoke proposals that leverage the best of CBRE’s supply chain and category management expertise;
(2) Developing achievable yet competitive financial and service commitments, and owning the plan to meet them;
(3) Smoothly transitioning client accounts into a new supply chain and positioning the go-forward operations team for success

SCOPE OF THE ROLE
Bid support for all new client business development and client expansions for Enterprise Accounts within APAC (e.g., analytics, spend analysis, pricing, supplier bid collection)
Support and/or lead specific supply chain activities for client transitions including RFP’s, Contracting, Training, Supplier Onboarding, and Supplier Communications

PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Support the development of proposals that leverage the best of CBRE’s supply chain and category management practice
o Review client data including spend, scope, and SLA information
o Develop thorough understanding of client objectives, CBRE suppliers and service line KPIs
o Review CBRE suppliers, supplier pricing, contract scope and KPIs
o As GWS moves through the sales process, incorporate additional information to refine plans
Oversee the reporting and analytics to develop competitive pricing and bid proposals
o Collects and rationalizes data from multiple sources.  Ensures data integrity and accuracy.  Uses aggregate data from multiple sources to create a complete analysis and recommendation(s)
o Design, generate, review and incorporate complex reporting.  Prepares and presents results of analysis and reports along with their relative impact(s) to the business
o Work with strategic suppliers and vendor partners to solidify their cost and quality commitments
o Work within CBRE proprietary pricing processes and tools 
Support the transition of client accounts into a new supply chain, positioning the go-forward operations team for success 
o Support critical aspects of the 90-180 day transition:
? Supplier on-boarding 
? Prepare forecasts and analyze trends
? Development and execution of supplier contracts
? Set-up and implementation of CBRE supply chain technologies
? Day One stabilization and risk mitigation
o Assist platform and variable (consultant) staff brought in to support peak transition workload
o Support hand-off to the dedicated team
Success Measures: 
The successful candidate will have demonstrated capability to develop sourcing solutions, pricing and savings plans for the in-scope services. The candidate will have working knowledge of facility management products and services including maintenance, janitorial, grounds, mail room services, food services, waste management, etc.   The successful candidate will be an excellent listener and collaborator who can align inputs and demands of (a) clients, (b) our sales team, and (c) our market-leading category managers and sourcing leadership.  Importantly, the successful individual will also be a strong writer and highly competent analyst.
