GLOBAL FACILITIES SERVICES LEAD
JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to serve as the primary client contact for Facilities Management and Workplace Experience and hold full accountability for delivery of these services across a mixed portfolio of office, research and development, manufacturing and transitory storage. Some locations are in high density areas while others are in more rural areas. Some locations operate on a 24/7 basis and others operate 5 days a week. The Global Facilities Services Lead is responsible for the delivery of all aspects of the agreed scope of services across all existing locations in the US and any expansion sites as they occur. The role is supported by and involves managing several operational service line and regional leaders who will execute and oversee service delivery within their respective areas and/or regions.
The Global Facilities Services Lead is responsible for the relationship, customer satisfaction and service delivery both contractual and performance provided to the Global Facilities client. This role is crucial in building and maintaining the relationship serving as liaison for CBRE to our Global Facilities client. This individual is a strategic, creative, self-driven and organized professional who takes pride in seeing operations run smoothly and efficiently, ensuring welcoming, safe, secure and tidy facilities for users and visitors and delivering best practices and exceeding client expectations. This individual enjoys building operations, processes and teams from the ground up, can shift gears comfortably as the client organization grows and evolves, can decide and act without having the total picture, isn't upset when things are up in the air and can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of eight years of related facilities management leadership experience and/or training. Prior supervisory experience required.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Facility Management certification preferred. Driver's license may be required.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action. Ability to utilize Google docs and Google sheets a plus.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Reviews complex financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates. Ability to analyze complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions. Develops and implements financial policies and procedures. Approves and oversees department budget.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based agile client environment with disparate asset types. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the value CBRE provides to the client.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Strong safety record. Proven leadership skills and employee satisfaction skills. Proven client satisfaction skills; must be able to be a trusted advisor to client(s). Ability to use intranet/internet, work order system, develop spreadsheets, write playbooks, emails and notifications. Working knowledge of architectural, electrical, and mechanical systems. Intermediate skills with Google docs, Google sheets preferred. Working knowledge of facility and supplier contracts and related documents.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve complex results. Responsible for setting project, department and/or division deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to line of business and/or overall company.
BONUS ELIGIBLE:
• CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr. Director position is $200,000 annually [or $96.15 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Sr. Director position is $230,000 annually [or $110.57per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
